It’s never over,
My kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder
It’s never over,
all my riches for her smiles when I slept so soft against her…
It’s never over,
All my blood for the sweetness of her laughter…
It’s never over,
She’s a tear that hangs inside my soul forever.
—Jeff Buckley, lyrics from Lover, you should have come over.
Haven’t listened to his cd in forever, so i pulled it out tonight. Still one of the most beautiful voices I’ve ever heard, and his lyrics are so poignant.
OH!
speaking of awesome music.
Tori Amos will soon have another album ^^
1am
I’m telling you stories. Trust me.
—I also like this…as shown on a previous photo (see tattoos tag), but I’d do it on my foot or elsewhere.
5pm
Thinking about getting the wording (not the design) tattooed around my foot (see next pic for example of this kind of tattoo).

You said I have a room
at the top of the stairs
I have a room with a view
I know we all have a cross that we bear
and I’d like to show it to you.
And you left me in the light
and you met me in the light
and we only had a night between the two.
You were waiting for the worst
You were listening for a curse
but the only thing I heard was hallelujah.
—-Emmy the Great, First Love.
I love how these lyrics show the hugely different interpretations two people can have on a single relationship. At least, that’s what I get from it.
